Keepin’ it “Real:” The 3 and 4 Reasons High School Football Student-Athletes Should be STEALTH-Rated

In our last article, we pointed out that STEALTH addresses many of the challenges high school football student-athletes face in getting a fair and objective evaluation of their ability to play college football. Where most rating systems simply provide subjective reviews of an athlete’s physical ability, STEALTH is an objective assessment tool. Objective data is obtained in the form of a survey from the athlete, then validated by the head coach that when completed, generates a 5-Star rating highlighting the student-athlete’s work -ethic, character, academic, physical attributes and on-field performance achievements.

Looking back on the first two reasons high school football student-athletes should be STEALTH-Rated, you see that a couple of challenges football student-athletes face are quickly resolved after using STEALTH:

  1. No matter what your skill level is, no matter what position you play, every player can be STEALTH Rated.
  2. A player can actually begin the rating process himself.

Your skill level, position played, or access to a rating system is no longer a challenge once a football student-athlete is introduced to the STEALTH 5-Star Rating System. The STEALTH system is intended as an educational tool for all football student-athletes to use as a means to determine their value to a college coach and the opportunity to earn a scholarship.

Noe lets look at the number three and four reasons:

3. You don’t need to attend a camp or combine to be STEALTH Rated

There are an abundance of football camps and combines around the country, many promising participants that they will gain college exposure if they pay and attend the event, of course. While many of these camps and combines are effective for performance improvement, they seldom have any impact on college exposure and recruiting. Most college coaches are restricted from attending the event because of either NCAA rules, or they simply do not have the budgets to attend these events. STEALTH is simply a data gathering assessment. Football student-athletes will be evaluated on current, objective data that goes beyond physical performance. The data mathematically calculated into a 5-star rating and displayed on the STEALTH website in the form a digital profile.

4. There are no football camps or combines taking place at the present time. College coaches did not visits high schools this year. High school football recruits will not be visiting college campuses this summer. In case you’ve been on a deserted island, or under a rock the last four months, we’ve experienced a world-wide health pandemic called COVID-19. Coinciding with the pandemic, the economy has also been significantly effected and has caused most traditional forms of recruiting to slow down, or stop altogether. STEALTH has managed to be unaffected by the pandemic, and the ensuing economic downturn because the system is a digital design and accessible to anyone. Also, there is no cost involved with being STEALTH Rated other than time. Time is the gift everyone has been granted because of the pandemic. There is no better time to be proactive in the recruiting process by using STEALTH.

Join us right back here tomorrow night. We’ll reveal number five and six of the top ten reasons high school football student-athletes should use The STEALTH 5-Star Rating System.
